Oregon on May 16, 17 and 18. Please complete and return the enclosed
application if you are interested. Space is limited and allocated on a first
come basis, so promptness is important. Please note that we have activities in
more than location, vendors may be placed at any one of these locations as
needed, the decision of the Vendor coordinator is final.
The
food vendor’s rate is $70.00 plus 10% of sales (due before leaving the fair
grounds) All other vendors rate is $50.00. We accept non and for profit food
booths and craft/homemade and commercial vendors or booths.
There
is limited parking available for self-contained RV’s. Sorry no power is
furnished or available. The nearest motels are in Stayton, Lebanon, or
Albany.
The following
products are unacceptable to us and vendors of them will be denied
participation: Weapons (gun, swords) or lookalike weapons, including, but not
limited to squirt guns, plastic swords, etc, toys that shoot projectiles, sparks
or burst in any way; T-shirts, sweatshirts or any other products that have logos
or contain illustrations with violence, strong sexual, gang or drug related
contents. Aerosol string or colored hair spray. As with any other decisions
the fair board may bar any other items at any time..
Please
fully describe your product in the space provided on your application. Every
effort is made not to duplicate food and craft items.
The
following rules are important:
1. Vendors
may begin to set up at 8:00 am Friday May 16th. The Fair officially opens at
noon Friday. It is encouraged that you be setup before noon for lunch. If a vendor
purchases a site & fails to appear by noon, the site may be given to another
vendor to maintain a central vending area. Late vendors will be accommodated on
a space available basis. Hours of operation are Friday noon to midnight,
Saturday 9:00 am to 9 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please note for
Safety reasons all booth break downs will be after 3 pm on Sunday.
2. Please
check in with the fairgrounds manager or other fair official upon arrival. We
will be wearing royal blue vests. We are in charge of all placements
changes.
3. Any
refunds will be made after the Fair (if approved by the Fair Board.)
4. Applications
postmarked after April 30th
will be subjected to a $10 late fee. No post-dated checks or arrangements for
late payments. No site shall be considered rented until payment is made. Sites
reserved with a bad check will be given to another applicant.
5. We reserve the right to deny continued
participation if necessary.
6. We enhance security with County Deputies,
lighting and we try to provide security personnel, but theft and vandalism have
occurred in the past and each vendor should take appropriate measures to protect
their property.
“I/We
agree to abide by the rules of the Fair, accept as final the decisions of the
Fair Officials, and behave in a manner of peace and good neighborliness. I/We
agree to hold the fair and fair officials …”
I,
as a vendor, accept any and all responsibilities for any loss or damage that may
occur to any articles exhibited. Also, if any damage, loss or injury to person
or property shall be caused by reason of any neglect or willful act of any
person, firm or corporation, or their agents, representatives, or employees
having the privilege to be present, the Linn Co. Lamb and Wool Fair and their
committees, volunteers, and vendors shall in no manner be responsible and/or
liable. My payment acknowledges that I have read this and that I am responsible
for any cost incurred as a result of damages caused by my product(s) to the
facilities and/or persons.
