2007 Quilt Show Results

Young and old, solitary and sociable, trained artist and self-taught stitchers, quilting enthusiasts are a wonderfully varied lot. For many quilting is a pleasurable pastime, for a few, cutting and piecing is a full-time commitment. Quilters or not, we all agree, it is a pleasure looking at these beautiful works of art. Yes, it is that time again.

The raffle quilt will be handled differently this year. the raffle quilt this year is a beautiful quilt made out of Vintage 40s-70s materials. it was made and donated by Ruth Breedlove and machine quilted by Mona Aimsworth. The purpose for the quilt this year is to sponsor Kylie Stoneburner, Ruth's granddaughter. This is not sponsored by the Linn County Lamb and Wool Fair. Kylis is going to the Olympics in China, in July. She is on a drill team. She will be at the show selling tickets. For more information, tickets, donations, you can contact Ruth at (503) 394-3038.
